NUGGETS: Place 3 Shungite nuggets near the right-side corner of the beehives entrance. More often than not the bees choose to walk over the nuggets, either before they leave on a flight, or immediately after they have returned. With a new beehive it can take some time for the bees to become familiar with the Shungite nuggets. We’ve never seen bees try to remove or push the nuggets off in any way. As the generations of bees continue to emerge, more and more bees will tend to gravitate around the nuggets.         

POWDER: The 15 grams of “Shungite Bee Power Powder” (SBPP) is sufficient to have one application of powder in the supplied tray to accelerate hive growth and to use the rest to make Shungite S4 Paint.

PAINT: One bag of SBPP is more than sufficient for one gallon of paint. We recommend holding back a small amount in case you want to add the powder directly into a hive for accelerated growth. Add the powder directly into the Water Based Paint and blend well.

SBPP tends to clump together, which leaves streaks - but also character. As long as the powder is dispersed relatively well, it will have the desired effect. If you do prefer to have no clumps, you can premix the powder in a small amount of water first, then add this to the paint.

ONLY THE EXTERIOR PORTIONS OF THE BEEHIVES ARE PAINTED—WHILE NO AREA INSIDE OF THE BEEHIVES IS EVER PAINTED.
